The land of Cape Cod had been owned for centuries by the Indians, but eventually, the Indians lost their land when it was stolen by the Americans by what is called the purchases and expropriation by the English colonists. Now, it’s a famous tourist spot as everyone wants to see the ocean and love the little towns that are around here. This is how most people on the Cape make their living as well.
One of the frequently visited items on Cape Cod are the light houses. There are quite a few of them to warn ships of the dangers that might loom ahead. Some of the ones that you might be familiar with are Nobska Light, Race Point Light, and Highland Light just to name a few.
Some love to come here to fish. We mean you have the beautiful ocean in front of you and much more. What more could a person who loves to fish want? Therefore, this brings many tourists who stay a little bit later as they say they have a lot of Indian Summers. Here, they get to view the ocean and shop around. It’s just a pleasant place to be when you are tired of the busy life that consumes many of us.
You will find that there are many ways to get around the area. So you never have to wonder how you will get from place to place. You will also find a ton of accommodations, but do remember that tourists are popular here, but that means that some of the nicer places book up faster.
